CA-R-MA, Moncton SPCA to benefit from national pet supply chain campaignGlobal Pet Foods and Hill's Science Diet are hoping to help out the fur balls of our families with the annual Show Us Your Heart campaign, which runs Feb. 12-19. Global, a national pet supply chain with more than 130 stores across Canada, started the campaign in 2007 and has raised more than $150,000 for homeless pets across Canada, the company says. Managers at every Global location across Canada choose its own local animal charity to support. This year, Global Pet Foods on Mountain Road in Moncton will be raising money for Cat Rescue Maritimes (CA-R-MA), Moncton chapter, while Global's Champlain Street, Dieppe location will support the Moncton SPCA. All you have to do to help out is drop by either local Global store between Feb. 12-19, and donate whatever you like. All donations will be matched by the pet supply chain and Hill's Science Diet. By donating as little as $1, you can enter a contest to win a year's supply of Hill's Science Diet pet food. By donating $5 or more, you can enter the contest, plus get 10 Air Miles.
